Background
Luis was part of the founding research team and co-author of C2i檚 first research paper, 淭racking Campus Responses to the COVID-19 Pandemic. He started his career in higher education as an Admission Counselor at Colby College and later as an Assistant Director of Admission at 91茄子. At Colby, he led the college檚 partnership with the community-based organization QuestBridge.
Luis檚 work in 91茄子檚 Office of Admission and Financial Aid included leading the creative direction of student digital content, managing partnerships with lead generation vendors, and organizing the college檚 fall open house.
He has been interviewed for media outlets including the Wall Street Journal, Business Insider, and Higher Ed Dive. Luis earned his Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Education Policy with a focus on human development from 91茄子.
Luis檚 research areas in his undergraduate studies included mitigating gun violence in K-12 schools, literacy development in bilingual students, and examining predictors of depression in college students.
